Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This policy explains what Labeeq does with personal data. It covers two different things: the data we hold about you as our customer, and the data your business puts into its workspace about its own customers — where we act only on your instructions.

1. Two roles, and why the difference matters

For your account, billing and support, we decide how data is used: we are the controller. For the contacts and conversations inside your workspace, you decide and we act for you: you are the controller and we are your processor. The Data Processing Agreement governs that second role.

2. What we collect

  • Account: name, work email, phone, company name, language, and the role you hold in your workspace.
  • Workspace content: the contacts, conversations, notes, files, deals and automation your team creates or receives through connected channels.
  • Billing: your plan, currency, the invoices for your subscription with us, and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
  • Technical: IP address, browser and device information, and logs of actions taken in the workspace — which is also what makes the audit trail useful.
  • Support: what you tell us when you ask for help.

3. Why we use it

  • To run the service you asked for — delivering messages, storing contacts, executing your automation.
  • To bill you, and to keep the records that tax and company law require of us.
  • To keep the platform secure: detecting abuse, rate-limiting, investigating incidents.
  • To support you, and to understand which parts of the product work and which do not.

Where the law asks for a legal basis, ours are: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your workspace content to train AI models for anyone else.

4. Connected channels

When you connect WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Viber, LINE, WeChat, SMS or email, we receive and send messages through those providers on your behalf. Each provider handles that traffic under its own terms, and what they retain is governed by their policies, not ours.

5. AI features

If you switch on AI, the messages and knowledge needed to answer are sent to the AI provider configured for your workspace to generate a reply. Providers are listed on the sub-processors page. We do not permit them to train their models on your workspace content.

6. Who else sees data

Only the sub-processors we list publicly — hosting, messaging providers, payments, AI — each for the job named there, and anyone we are legally required to disclose to. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

7. Where data is stored

The platform runs on servers in Europe. Messaging, payment and AI providers may process data elsewhere, which for European personal data means standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

8. How long we keep it

  • Workspace content: while your workspace is open, and for 90 days after it closes, so an account closed by mistake can be recovered.
  • Anything you delete yourself — a contact, a conversation, a file — goes when you delete it, and leaves our backups as those age out.
  • Billing records for your subscription with us: kept as long as tax and company law requires, which is longer than the rest.
  • Logs: kept for a limited period for security and debugging.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to ⁦[email protected]⁩ — we answer within the time the law allows.

If the request concerns data inside a customer's workspace, we pass it to that customer: they decide, because it is their record and not ours.

10. The law that applies

We follow Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020) and, where it applies to a customer or their contacts, the GDPR. Where the two differ we hold to whichever gives more protection.

11. Children

Labeeq is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if you believe we have, tell us and we will remove it.

12. Changes

We update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading, and material changes are announced before they take effect.
