Deals and pipelines
Track every sale on a board, with your own pipelines, stages and win probabilities.
A deal is one sale you are working on: a name, a value, a close date, an owner, the contacts involved and, if you like, a company. Deals move through the stages of a pipeline until they are won or lost.
Set up your pipelines
- 1 Open Settings → Deal pipelines. Add a pipeline for each way you sell — new sales and renewals, say.
- 2 Add stages in order, give each a colour, and set its win probability. The probability weights each deal's value in your forecast.
- 3 Every pipeline has a won stage and a lost stage. Mark one pipeline as the default for new deals.
Work the board
- Open Deals to see the board: a column per stage, each with its count and value. Drag a card to move it.
- Filter by create date, close date or last activity, sort by value or close date, and search deals or contacts.
- Ctrl+click cards to select several, then assign them, move them, add a task to each, or delete them together.
- Open a deal to see its timeline — notes, calls, meetings and tasks — plus its contacts, company and orders.
Winning and losing
Use Mark as won or Mark as lost, or drag the deal to the won or lost stage. When you mark a deal as lost you can note the reason, so you can see later why deals slip.
A deal with no next step goes quiet. Add a task from the deal so it lands on the calendar with a reminder.
