Team roles and permissions

Account owners and admins, workspace roles, and the permission matrix.

Access works on two levels: the account, which pays and holds all your workspaces, and each workspace, where the daily work happens.

Account roles

  • Owner — one person who holds billing and can archive workspaces. Ownership moves only by transferring it.
  • Account admin — gets everything in every workspace.
  • Member — works only in the workspaces they are added to, with the role they are given there.

Manage these in Settings → People: change someone's account role, choose their workspaces, or deactivate them so they can no longer sign in anywhere on the account.

Workspace roles

A role is a set of permissions you can hand to many people. Labeeq ships with ready ones — Admin, Operator, Dashboard viewer, Billing manager and Automation manager — and you can edit them or create your own in Settings → Roles.

Each role is a grid of tick boxes grouped by area: the inbox, post comments, contacts, companies, the pipeline, orders and products, tasks and the calendar, campaigns, automation, content, the AI assistant, channels and settings, integrations and the API, and users and billing. Untick something and it disappears from that person's panel entirely — not just greyed out.

  • Viewing contact phone numbers is its own permission, so junior staff can work without seeing customer numbers.
  • Importing and exporting contacts or companies is separate from viewing them.
  • Each report area has its own permission.

Change the role, not the person. When someone new joins, they inherit the right access on day one.
