Connect Instagram and Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger connects through your Facebook Page. Instagram connects through the professional Instagram account linked to that Page. Both come in through Meta, so the steps are almost the same.

The one-click route

1. 1 Open Settings → Channels → Connect a channel, and pick Facebook or Instagram.
2. 2 Press Connect with Facebook. Facebook asks you to pick the Page (for Instagram: the Page linked to your Instagram account).
3. 3 Choose what to connect from the list that comes back. You land back in Labeeq, connected and ready.

Connecting manually

If you run your own Meta app, pick the manual option: paste a Page access token and the Page ID, save, then copy the Callback URL and Verify token into your Meta app's webhook settings.

After connecting

• Messages and Instagram story replies arrive in the inbox like any other conversation.
• Turn on post comments in the channel settings to answer comments too — see the post comments guide.
• Meta only lets a business reply within its messaging window, so answer promptly.
