Connect an email mailbox

An email channel turns a support mailbox into shared conversations: incoming email opens a conversation, and your replies go back as real email from that address.

Pick your provider

• Google Workspace and Gmail — one click with a Google sign-in. Gmail also works with an app password.
• Microsoft 365 / Outlook — one click with a Microsoft sign-in.
• Yahoo Mail — with an app password; the mail servers come prefilled.
• Other email — any mailbox with IMAP and SMTP; you fill in the servers yourself.

One-click with Google or Microsoft

1. 1 Open Settings → Channels → Connect a channel → Email, and pick Google Workspace, Gmail or Microsoft 365 / Outlook.
2. 2 For a company Google account, ask your Google Workspace administrator to allow the Labeeq web application first — the connect page shows what to send them.
3. 3 Sign in and allow access. The mailbox address is read from your account and the channel is ready.

With an app password

1. 1 Turn on 2-step verification in your Google or Yahoo account, then create an app password named "Labeeq".
2. 2 Enter your email address and paste the app password. The servers are prefilled; change them only under Advanced if you must.
